Chilean professors visit KEDRI on the 15th of June

A Delegation from Chile for higher education, research and development visited KEDRI

The delegation included deputy VCs Research and Development from several Universities in Chile lead by the Head of a Government Organisation CORFO. CORFO has the mission to coordinate and integrate research and development in Chile and to establish new research collaboration with overseas partners. CORFO has received a hundred million dollars funding from the Chilean government. The delegation expressed an interest in collaborating with KEDRI and AUT on novel neurocomputing methods and systems for large scale data analysis and event prediction, such as earthquakes, on brain-computer interfaces and stream data modelling in a real time for industrial applications. The delegation was accompanied by a representative of Education NZ Cecily Lin. In Auckland the delegation visited only two research institutes  - KEDRI and the Biomedical Engineering at Auckland University.
