Prof Dato Dr Hassan Said, President and Vice Chancellor, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mushtak Al-Atabi, Dean, School of Engineering, Taylor's University, visited KEDRI on 25th October 2011.
KEDRI discussed possible areas of collaboration with our Malaysian visitors.
Prof. Kasabov received the EU FP7 Marie Curie Fellowship for 2011 and 2012, hosted by ETH and Uni Zurich
The Marie Curie Fellowship allows an outstanding scholar from outside the EU to work with a European team for a period of up to about 18 months. Professor Kasabov has chosen to go to the Universitaet Zuerich and ETH in Switzerland for a total period of 12 months.

5 February 2011 - First Workshop for the Tripartite Programme
This workshop is a part of joint research initiatives of both the Chinese and New Zealand Ministries of Education to support the tripartite joined research for computational intelligence approach for ecological and environmental modelling.
15 October 2010 - Signing an agreement between KEDRI/AUT and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Automation (CASIA)
Both the Chinese and the New Zealand Ministries of Education support the tripartite joint research on ‘Computational Intelligence: Methods, Systems and Applications for Ecological and Environmental Modelling in China and New Zealand’.

AUT presence in China - for the present and the future
The NZ Education in China was held in Shanghai, 13-18 June 2010, during the World Expo.
12 - 15 April 2010, Wellington "8th New Zealand Computer Science Research Student Conference (NZCSRSC)"
Three PhD students from KEDRI were participating in the conference, where Stefan Schliebs and Kshitij Dhoble presented on the poster session and Harya Widiputra presented a full-paper.
